Hand Mending 101

Want to know how to sew on a button? Hem your pants or skirt? Patch a small hole in your clothing? Don't own a sewing machine? We have you covered.

In this private 90 minute lesson, we will cover all the basics, starting with choosing the right needle and threading it. From there, we will practice sewing on a button. You will learn two different mothods to hem clothing. Finally, we will cover a couple of different methods for patching small holes in fabric.

The cost of your private lesson includes small samples for you to practice on. If you have a sewing kit, bring it along. If not, we can put together a kit for you that includes all the basics you need to keep your clothing looking good. We have small mending kits availabile in the shop. Or we can put together a kit just for you! Mending kits purchased for the class are 20% off the regularly priced items.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations or rescheduling must be made no less than 24 hours before the class otherwise you forfeit the class fee.

In case of cancellation by us, you may choose to be refunded or receive store credit for the amount paid at the time of registration and use the credit towards a future class within 6 months.

Payments must be made in advance to secure your spot.
