Intro to Garment Sewing Group Class Nov/Dec Tuesdays

Join us for a four week group adult introductory garment sewing class this fall! Class size is limited to five people, so you will be sure to get plenty of individualized attention. During our time together you will learn to alter patterns to fit your size, basic garment sewing techniques for a variety of fabric types, and design elements like customizing pockets and topstitching. You will also complete a lined reversible criss cross apron from Mary Mulari Designs and a Cielo top or dress from Closet Core Patterns. You will need to do some sewing and fabric cutting outside of class to complete your projects in four weeks. If you don't have access to a sewing machine outside of class time, let us know. 

Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate
You need to be able to make a bobbin and properly thread your machine, adjust stitch width and stitch length on your sewing machine, switch between zig-zag and straight stitches, and carefully follow seam allowances. We offer four week Beginner Group Sewing Classes as well as individual private lessons if you need to sharpen your skills prior to taking this class.

Price: $200.00
The cost of the class includes six+ hours of instruction in a small group setting, use of our sewing studio and tools, and the two patterns for the class projects. If you own a sewing machine, we encourage you to bring it to the class. We have sewing machines available in our sewing studio to use during the class, if you don't have your own machine. You will need to purchase fabric for your projects. Yardage requirements and more information will be provided when you sign up for the class. You get a 20% discount on fabric and notion purchases made in the shop for this class.

Time: Tuesdays, 5:00 - 6:30 p.m., 11/12, 11/19, 11/26/, & 12/3
Feel free to bring your dinner and/or snacks.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations or rescheduling must be made no less than 48 hours before the first class in this series. 

In case of cancellation by us, you may choose to be refunded or receive store credit for the amount paid at the time of registration and use the credit towards a future class within 6 months.

Payments must be made in advance to secure your spot.
