Please join us at the shop this Saturday, September 15 at 10:15 AM for our very first Storybook Saturday, a new monthly series everyone is welcome and it is free to attend. This month we’ll be reading "Last Stop on Market Street," illustrated by Christian Robinson. “Last Stop on Market Street" is a wonderful story about perspective, compassion, and giving back. We hope to see you and your children there!
Get inspired: Reusable snack bags
Back to school means packing lunches…lots and lots of lunches!
This year alone, you’re likely to pack somewhere in the neighborhood of 180 lunches…per kid!
That also means a ton of sandwich and snack bags that end up in garbage pails after only one use, not to mention endless trips to the store for more bags. It’s easy to do better for the environment, and your wallet, with reusable sandwich and snack bags, and we have the perfect fabric collection to do the job! We love the Cotton + Steel Friends: Christian Robinson Collection for its vintage-inspired, quirky prints. Each one is a colorful and fun print, and certain to make even the pickiest eaters smile!
Plus you and your kids can have fun making them together. Check out this link for several great tutorials on how to make your own bags.
