National Reptile Awareness Day

National Reptile Awareness Day

Celebrate our Slithering Friends!

October 21 is National Reptile Awareness Day – the day we come together to celebrate the most cold-blooded of our slithering friends. It’s a day to set aside to promote education, conservation, and appreciation for the more than 10,000 species of reptiles(!) who live here on earth with us — and bring awareness to the ecological threats they face.

We’re doing our part to encourage peaceful co-existence with our reptile-themed fabric collection — nothing slimy or slithery here! Check out Snakes from Dear Stella, Gators from Michael Miller (a Nola favorite!), and our favorite reptile, Turtles and Turtle Town, by Dear Stella.
