Time to put down those screens and pull out your machines...Summer Sewing Camp is on!
Like most everything else these days, we'll need to do things a little differently this summer, at least for now, and hold our first round of Summer Sewing Camp online. We'll begin with two weeks online and see where we go from there.
For any parents who may be a tad weary of yet more online learning, we promise to make this as easy on you as we can!
WEEK 1: ONLINE CAMP MACHINE SEWING WHAT: It's All About the Beach Machine sewing class for children ages 8 and up
WHEN: June 16, 17, and 18, from 9:30 AM - 12 PM each day.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED (aka, requirements):
- Access to a sewing machine
- Basic sewing machine knowledge - i.e., you need to know how to thread a machine and wind a bobbin
- A parent nearby to help get you started
- 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM - ice breakers and instructions for the day
- 9:30 AM - 11 AM - independent sewing; teacher on standby for help, with individual check-ins throughout
- 11:30 AM - 12 PM - check-in and sharing, wrap up for the day
- Beach towels! Super easy, super cute!
- Beach balls! Fun to make! Make great accent pillows when you're done throwing them at each other!
COST & REGISTRATION
- $120, all supplies included.

WEEK 2: ONLINE CAMP B HAND SEWING (ALSO CAN BE MADE USING MACHINE)
WHAT: Hand sewing class for children ages 7 and up
WHEN: June 23, 24, and 25, from 9:30 AM - 12 PM each day.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED (aka, requirements): Just our kit!
HOW IT WILL WORK: Karen is teaching!
- 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM - ice breakers and instructions for the day
- 9:30 AM - 11 AM - independent sewing; teacher on standby for help, with individual check-ins throughout
- 11:30 AM - 12 PM - check-in and sharing, wrap up for the day
